Privacy Policy

Sticky Postings (stickypostings.com) · Effective 7 July 2026 · We follow the Australian Privacy Principles (Privacy Act 1988, Cth).

The short version

We collect the details you give us to market your business (or, if you contacted a business through one of our pages, the details you chose to send them). We use that information to provide the service, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to show or delete it at any time by emailing hello@stickypostings.com.

Who we are

Sticky Postings is an Australian service that creates and runs advertising for small local businesses, and hosts a simple contact page for each business at stickypostings.com/<business>.

What we collect

How we use it

What we share (and don't)

Ad platform connections

If a business connects its Facebook, Google or TikTok ad account to Sticky Postings, we access that account solely to create, manage and report on that business's own campaigns, as directed by the business. We don't use platform data for any other purpose, and access can be revoked at any time from the platform's settings or by contacting us.

Keeping and deleting your data

We keep account and lead data while an account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping, then delete or de-identify it.

To access, correct or delete your data: email hello@stickypostings.com with the subject "Data request". We'll confirm and action deletion requests within 30 days. This is also the data-deletion contact for any platform login or connection (for example, Facebook).

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS, stored with a managed database provider using industry-standard protections, and secret keys are kept server-side. No internet service can promise perfect security, but we keep the surface small and the safeguards current.

Cookies

We use only what's needed for the site to function. No third-party advertising cookies are set on stickypostings.com.

Requests from public authorities

If a government or public authority requests access to personal data we hold (including any data received from advertising platforms such as Meta), we will: review the legality of the request before responding; challenge the request if we consider it unlawful or overbroad; disclose only the minimum information necessary to comply with a valid request; and document the request, our legal assessment and our response. To date we have not received any such request.

Complaints & contact

Questions or complaints: hello@stickypostings.com. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).

Changes

If we change this policy we'll update this page and the effective date above.
